In 2013, Phixion Creation was also involved in building the main stage at Tomorrowland 'The Arising of Life' was the 2013 theme of the Tomorrowland Main Stage. At the centre of the main stage there was a volcano, symbolizing the centre of the world. The left side of the stage represented the expansion of life on earth, portrayed by houses in the cliff face. The right hand side of the stage represented organic life on earth, symbolized with plants and a grand waterfall.
After the initial design phase, Phixion Creation took care of the rocks, the volcano and the 2 integrated rock screens. Once again, the Tommorowland’s main stage was created through teamwork; all involved parties worked together on all technical, structural and safety aspects and the special effects were integrated into the magnificent main stage.
At 29m high and 130m wide, the Tommorrowland 2013 main stage was the largest of the festival World and Phixion proudly showed off its expertise in the World of podium decor!
